Most bloggers are interested in Networking but are not on Corporate Budgets or Company Credit Cards. Blogworld is for Bloggers, Podcasters, Web TV producers, and all content creators. Social Media means using Internet Technologies to Communicate, at least that is my meaning. Go to Blogworld if you have never been to a Social Media Conference. Go if you want to meet a ton of people from the Single Blogger to large companies jumping into learning about Social Media, some call it  New Media, it is communication using the Internet to reach people. 

Register EARLY to get the most affordable price of $147 for Blogworld

Waiting and paying more will NOT improve the conference but will leave you with less money. Use the money you save by registering early to go to a Broadway show or a nice dinner or some other tourist type event. Enjoy New York City.

If you can NOT go in person, get the virtual ticket where some of the sessions are taped. Most are taped but some speakers did not allow their sessions to be tape at least in 2010 in Vegas because they have their own marketing. I have been assured all are taped now because it is part of their speaking agreement.

Ok, say you are not sure of your schedule. Buy early. Sell your ticket if you can not go. Many people book later in the cycle and pay 2 and 3x the amount. They will gladly purchase your ticket from you. There are no refunds.

Do NOT buy an expo only pass to this conference. Many people will be giving them away just before the conference. Being outside the meetings and presentations, well, it might be good for the major name bloggers who have been to and presented at all of these BUT for you, you want to be able to go to the presentations.

The List of presenters will evolve. Following hashtag BWENY or BLOGWORLD on twitter will let you know who has gotten acceptance. Looking at the site right now will not give you the names of current year speakers. The ones listed are last year. There will be some awesome speakers and presenters. There will be a ton you have never heard of before. The panels drive me nuts but some like them a lot.

Plan on going to all the parties. Network ahead to get invited. Check with a search to find out who normally sponsors parties and get in their twitter feed. Bring some device to twitter with because there are prizes, people to meet, and free diners. Great way to meet people in real life (IRL)

Book your room as soon as they list them. Plan on getting a roommate or two. Prices will rise. Get them early. Waiting for prices to rise while you make up you mind will NOT make the conference higher quality … it will only make you unhappy for having waited.

Be on the look out for contests, Free Dinners, Steaks, Media Show Tickets, and tourism department New York for free shows, tickets, or events. Make your own connections. Start early in networking with people, hotels, events, tours, etc. Some contest may offer plane fare, hotel, and conference, enter all of them. FREE is best.

SheCon Expo Orlando and Disney World Coronado Springs Resort

Nice central location to bring back those VIP Founders from the first conference last spring in Miami with great benefits. Affordable conferences are usually better for networking with some of the best while not denting your travel budget for something that may be a hobby or an aspiring entrepreneur. We are not doing this on a Corporate account. We are real people with a great desire to pursue our passion looking for like-minded people.

Educational Presentations will fill the halls with eager and excited attendees and speakers. Love the Marketers on the Expo floor too with great products to see and become familiar with. Loved Metromint Chocolate Water a lot. Free Shower head from American Standard was nice too. Pillow from Sleep Innovators is enjoyed every night. Maybe that IPAD2 will be mine this year. One can only hope.

Long weekend of learning May 25 to 27 in Florida can be still cool at night and nice in the daytime.

Blogging is a great way to share information, teach others, and develop business relationships. Making money to pay for your time, knowledge, and resources is a good business model. Finding the right affiliates, advertising, products, services, and other methods is part of the Marketing Strategy. Marketing strategy is part of the Business plan for any viable business. We come to realize it is a business. A business that needs to generate income in order to survive.

Affiliate ads market products or services for the same cost to the consumer whether they go through your link or straight to the source. Sometimes there is a code for a discount, getting permission to use that with your Marketing is important to retain your clients.

How do I make money on my Websites?

1. Adsense advertising brings in a little every month depending on what ads people click which varies by where they are located.

2. Affiliate advertising with individual organizations brings in a little each month. These are located in the margins and some on my Affiliate page
