Freelancing on the Internet takes discipline, research, time, and knowledge. Perseverance is important if you are working alone. Programming, writing, graphic design, artists, photographers, plumbers, house painters, and endless other occupations can be freelanced. The most important thing is to NOT pay money to buy a package that promises riches.
Scams are ubiquitous and become prolific in tough times. There are a lot of people who will sell you things or ideas because they make money by selling to you. Coaching, consultants, and marketeers are people I look at with caution. Multi level marketing or ponzi schemes are illegal yet they are everywhere. Financial markets have had huge losses to people who TRUSTED someone to invest for them.
Finding your way in Freelancing means doing your due diligence to investigate anyone who is trying to sell you their idea. Finding what is right for you is important. Trust your gut. Question the words. You can make great decisions. If someone says this offer is only good now, it might not be the right offer. Look at all the people upside down in houses that Realtors told them they had to buy or be priced out forever.
